Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2017-18 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Spring 2018 term.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Students have been named Presidential Scholars for the spring 2018 semester at Clarkson University.

Internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer faculty, staff, and work site professionals. Internships offer opportunities for students to enhance their academic programs with work experience related to career interests in all industry areas in national and international settings.

At the 186th Commencement ceremony on May 27, Wesleyan University awarded 745 bachelor of art degrees, 41 master of art degrees, 21 master of art in liberal studies degrees, and 20 doctor of philosophy degrees.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.

Colby-Sawyer celebrated its 180th Commencement on Saturday, May 5, awarding approximately 265 undergraduate and graduate degrees and recognizing students and other individuals for academic excellence, outstanding contributions to society, and service to the college and community.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Spring 2018 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2018 semester.

The Center for Mark Twain Studies announced the winners for their two annual student contests: the 2018 "Portraying Mark Twain" Art Competition and the 2018 "Mark Twain Essay" Prize.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

Lasell College held its 164th commencement on May 12, granting 398 Baccalaureate degrees and 125 Master's degrees, before an audience packed with family, friends, and members of the Lasell community on Taylor Field. Commencement speaker Donato Tramuto, president and founder of the nonprofit Health eVillages, shared with graduates his steps toward success with many stories from his own experiences growing up and becoming a corporate leader. The audience also heard messages from Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander, who addressed both undergraduate and graduate recipients. Alexander encouraged them to dream big and to embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Colby-Sawyer College recognizes 236 students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2018 spring semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Columbia State Community College announces the 525 students named to the Dean's List for earning academic honors this spring.

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Winter 2018 Term. The Dean's List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

The Elmira College Chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, recently inducted 13 new members during a ceremony and reception held in Cowles Hall.
